- HamLab is an interactive program which converts images from various file
- formats to HAM or SHAM. The pictures can be displayed (and panned on
- a "virtual screen") and saved in IFF format. HamLab currently reads
- GIF, TIFF, Spectrum 512 (Atari ST), MTV, QRT, DKBtrace, PBMPLUS, and Sun
- Raster files. Filters for new formats can be incorporated by adding an entry
- to a configuration file.
-
- Other features:
-
- - Scaling from 10 to 1000 percent of original size
- - Cropping (enter coordinates or use mouse to select)
- - Color control (brightness, contrast, gamma correction, or draw your
- own color correction curves)
- - Dithering (six types: Floyd-Steinberg, Jarvis, Stucki, Ordered,
- Random, Spiral-Dot)
- - Options to use pipes and/or temporary disk files to run on
- less expanded systems
-
- This is version 1.1. Please note that this is a demo version of a shareware
- program and is slightly limited in that it will cut off images larger than
- 512x512. Otherwise, all features, including save, are included.
-
- Requires 2.0 *OR* 1.3 and arp.library.
