  1. Create a drawer anywhere on your system for ShadowMaster, and move
  2. ShadowMaster and the savers, config and docs drawers into the
  3. ShadowMaster drawer.  If you wish, copy the source drawer as well.
  4. Next, edit s:user-startup and at the end add the line:

  6.     assign ShadowMaster: <drawer>
  7.  
  8. where <drawer> is the name of the drawer you put ShadowMaster in.

  10. Next, copy the files in env to envarc:shadowmaster and
  11. env:shadowmaster (so they work before your next reboot), and the files
  12. in rexx to rexx: (or wherever you would like them in your path).

  14. Finally, copy ShadowMaster to sys:wbstartup. This starts shadowmaster
  15. automatically when the sytsem is booted.. Alternatively, you can run
  16. it from s:user-startup, supplying arguments of the form
  17. "TOOLTYPE=TOOLVALUE" if you desire.

  19. As it is distributed, ShadowMaster runs a simple star blanker.
  20. An improved version of this blanker is available in the commercial
  21. package; see the file ShadowMaster:docs/credits for more information.

  23. Use the preferences editor to change this. The preferences editor is
  24. described in docs/ShadowMaster. Use the preferences editor to find a
  25. blanker you like, using the "Test" button to test it.  When you're
  26. satisfied, use the "Save" botton to use that configuration.
