  1. Short: This is the first public distribution of my Perl 4.035 port.

  3. All future versions will have the same naming convention:

  5. perlX.XXX.VYYY.lha
  6. perlX.XXX.VYYY.bin.lha
  7.  
  8. Where X.XXX indicates the version of perl ported and YYY indicates the version
  9. of the Amiga port. So this is perl 4.035 amiga port version 0.1.0. The bin
  10. versions are binary-only (i.e. it contains everything you need to run and
  11. install perl but no source code to perl). I think that sys-admins must keep
  12. the perl source available due to GPL but I figured the user may prefer to just
  13. download the binary distribution.
