  61. Just  one  little note:  If you think,
  62. that  the  Euronews-text  is  a little
  63. weird  this  time, please consider the
  64. fact  that  tonight,  DENMARK  won the
  65. European  football championships, with
  66. a  stunning  2-0-victory  against  the
  67. German World Champions.

  71. We can't say, that the response on our
  72. taking   over   the  charts  has  been
  73. overwhelming.  As you'll notice in the
  74. list  of  voters, only 122 people have
  75. voted.   But then again, the Eurochart
  76. has  been  delayed  for  6 months now,
  77. counting   from   the  last  Crusaders
  78. Eurochart.  It seems, though, that our
  79. giving  away  a  free advertisement to
  80. all  voters in this issue has helped a
  81. lot!
  82. Still, it's a bit disappointing, that
  83. we've received NO clip-art before the
  84. Hurricane party...

  88. In   the   intro,   released   at  the
  89. Gathering  in  Lillestroem  in  Easter
  90. '92,  we  said,  that  the new Kefrens
  91. were   going  to  make  the  Eurochart
  92. together with us.  But, as many of you
  93. have  noticed, the new Kefrens decided
  94. to  drop  out.  According to an intro,
  95. they   "didn't   think,   making   the
  96. Eurochart    would    improve    their
  97. skills"...     Well,   that's   under-
  98. standable, as Kefrens has the power of
  99. the Ankh, there's not much they can do
  100. to  improve  their  skills  from their
  101. high  level!   BUT, this has obviously
  102. NOT   delayed   the   release  of  The
  103. Official Eurochart.

  107. In   the  before-mentioned  intro  we
  108. promised,   that  Dr.   Outtasight  of
  109. Crusaders  would  continue writing his
  110. Ken-stories,  but as we, after writing
  111. to   him   twice,   haven't   got  any
  112. Ken-story-scroll from him, you'll have
  113. to  live  with  a  scroll  written  by
  114. Cutcreator  instead.   Everyone who is
  115. able to understand the meaning of this
  116. scroll  will  win a huge prize, by the
  117. way!

  121. Some  words about the code:  As we did
  122. not  get (and, by the way, didn't WANT
  123. to   get)   the   original  code  from
  124. Crusaders,  the coding is totally new,
  125. though  much  of  the Eurocharts looks
  126. like  in  the "old days".  As the code
  127. is  quite  new,  there  might still be
  128. some bugs, even though we've performed
  129. quite  thorough  testing on all parts.
  130. Especially when run from harddisk, the
  131. Gallery  and Euronews can act a little
  132. weird,   but   at   least  it  doesn't
  133. crash...  (or does it?  -ed)
  134.  
  135. As   all   main  graphics  are  loaded
  136. immediately,  512  Kb users might have
  137. some   "minor"  problems  running  the
  138. Eurochart...  At the risk of being too
  139. rude, all we can say is:  Go get a RAM
  140. expansion.

  142. Anyway,  we'd  VERY much like your bug
  143. reports,  or  in  general, comments to
  144. our  Eurochart.   Just  send them with
  145. your votes.
