  1. Dear registered IBeM user:

  3. This archive contains the patch files for IBeM.  There are four upgrade
  4. files provided:
  5.  
  6. ibem_105_120.up    - upgrade IBeM from 1.05 to 1.20
  7. ibem_115_120.up    - upgrade IBeM from 1.15 to 1.20
  8. ibem000_105_120.up - upgrade IBeM000 from 1.05 to 1.20
  9. ibem000_115_120.up - upgrade IBeM000 from 1.15 to 1.20

  11. To apply these patches you need a program called "update". This is provided
  12. in the archive up100.lzh.
  13.  
  14. To apply the patch type in the following command:
  15.  
  16. update e <patchfile> ibem ibem
  17.  
  18. (substitute ibem000 for ibem if you are using the 68000 version).
  19.  
  20. Full docs on update are also in the up100 archive. Update will check that
  21. the version which you are trying to update is in fact the one that the patch
  22. was created for. However, it still makes sense to keep a copy of the
  23. original software before applying update.

  25. Also included in this archive is the file update.txt which describes all the
  26. changes which have been made to IBeM since version 1.05.

  28. If you haven't got either version 1.05 or version 1.15 (95% of the
  29. distributed copies are one of these two versions), or for some reason have
  30. problems with updating your old files, then send me a note or write to my
  31. distributer at the address below, and we will send an update to you.
