  2.    While I was programming away, and was just about to make a quick entrance
  3. into the '2.04 only' door I realized that I really have to make a release of
  4. Welmat that is still 1.3 compatable before I do that.  This version is
  5. unfortunately not the fully tested 0.50 that I wanted to make the next
  6. release, but it will have to do.  If there are any bugs that the quick run 
  7. with the test team did not find, please notify me and I will attempt make a 
  8. bug-fix version available.  If you are an AmigaDos 1.3 user, this may
  9. be the last compatable release unless someone else provides some sort of
  10. support.  I will likley keep a maintanance version of 0.47 around on my
  11. system to do small bug fixes, but I'll not likely be adding any new features 
  12. myself to this version.  If someone else wishes to maintain it, they are
  13. perfectly welcome to, but moving up to 2.04 has become a requirement for
  14. myself.

  16.   If you are an AmigaDos 2.04 user, please stay tuned to the WELMAT conference
  17. as quite a few major enhancements are planned in the very near future.

  20.   Updates to Welmat are now again file requestable from my site.  The magic
  21. names are

  23. WELMAT      - Returns a list of magic filenames, and other Welmat associated
  24.               files that are available.
  25.  
  26. WELMAT.REL  - Returns you the latest RELEASED version of Welmat.
  27.  
  28. WELMAT.TEST - Returns the most recently made available TEST version of Welmat.
  29.               This version is provided AS-IS, and often without any 
  30.               documentation.  Use of this version assumes that you have
  31.               access to the Fidonet Backbone conference called WELMAT.

  33. COPYLEFT    - Returns the latest version of the GNU Public licence which is
  34.               the licence which WELMAT is licenced under.
