  11. This is a freely distributable demonstration version of the AmigaFax
  12. software package. It contains most of the features of the registered
  13. version, with the following limitations:
  14.  
  15. 1. The send and receive fax functions are limited to a single page at
  16.    a time. Fax files of greater than one page may still be created and
  17.    viewed.
  18.  
  19. 2. Created faxes contain a copyright notice at the top of the page.
  20.    This is not present in the registered version.
  21.  
  22. 3. Certain modules are not included, primarily to conserve space.
  23.    These include several fonts, the dvifax program, and the BBS
  24.    support programs.
  25.  
  26. We hope that this demonstration will give you some idea of the
  27. capabilities of AmigaFax. It should also enable you to test the
  28. software against your current hardware, and evaluate whether it suits
  29. your requirements.
  30.  
  31. We plan to develop and improve this product, and would like to hear
  32. your ideas, opinions and suggestions as to how we best may do this. 
  33.  
  34. Areas we are currently looking into include :
  35.  
  36. o Provide compatability with wider range of FaxModems
  37. o Add to ease of use by more "Intuitionized" interface
  38. o Support for PostScript
  39. o Fax printer-driver, to allow use with wider range of applications
  40. o Support for ECM (error correcting mode) and BFT (binary file transfer)
  41.   as these become available on FaxModems
  42. o Enhanced networking options (FaxMail servers, etc)
  43. o International support (language/date format user configurable)
  44. o Speed up overall operation
  45. o General interface face-lift, perhaps 2.04 only version
  46.  
  47. The priority we give these items may depend on the user feedback we
  48. receive.

  59. `at cost' access to enhancements, either directly from us or our local
  60. distributors in the US/Europe.
