  6. TransEd is TransAmiga's online text editor.  When entering text, do so
  7. continuously, pressing RETURN only at the end of a paragraph.
  8.  
  9. TransEd has several control commands that you enter preceeded by a backslash
  10. (\).  The backslash must be the very first command on a line in order for it
  11. to be recognized.
  12.  
  13. Press \ by itself to take you to the edit menu where there are various
  14. commands available for editting your message.
  15.  
  16. Press \q if your message is a reply to insert quoted lines from the original
  17. message.  Quoted lines all have a '>' infront of them.  Use the B command
  18. from the edit menu to view the contents of the quote buffer.
  19.  
  20. Commands within the editor can be "stacked", so, for example, you could enter
  21. \s to save, or \ay to immediately abort the message.
