  7. The file area is for sending and receiving files to and from the BBS.
  8.

  10. A - Area Change
  11.  
  12.     Lets you change to a specific file area.
  13.  
  14. D - Download File
  15.  
  16.     Lets you receive a file from the BBS using your selected protocal.
  17.     Keep in mind your upload:download ratio, i.e for every so many
  18.     downloads, you must upload a file.  The file may be in any area.

  20. G - Good-Bye
  21.  
  22.     When you want to logoff of the board, use this command.  DO NOT DROP
  23.     CARRIER OR YOUR ACCESS WILL BE LOWERED.

  25. K - Kill a File
  26.  
  27.     This will delete a file in the current area from the drive.  Only those
  28.     with SysOp access can use this command.
  29.  
  30. F - File Listing
  31.  
  32.     This will give a listing of all available files for downloading in the
  33.     current area.
  34.  
  35. B - Browse Mode Toggle
  36.  
  37.     Toggles between Browse Mode and Normal Listing Mode.  With browse mode
  38.     on, files are listed one at a time with all information being
  39.     displayed, instead of one file per line.

  41. C - Clear Marked List
  42.  
  43.     "Unmarks" all the files that you have marked.
  44.  
  45. N - New Files
  46.  
  47.     This command allows you to search for new files since your last logon,
  48.     or since any date you specify.  You will be given the option of
  49.     searching all areas, or just the current one.

  51. Q - Quit to Main Menu
  52.  
  53.     This takes you back to the Main Menu of the BBS.

  55. S - Search File List
  56.  
  57.     This searches the file listing for a filename or description that
  58.     contains the string you specify.  You will be given the option of
  59.     searching all areas, or just the current one.

  61. U - Upload File
  62.  
  63.     This command allows you to send a file to the BBS.  After the transfer,
  64.     you will be prompted for a description.  Please be precise as possible
  65.     in your description, do not enter things like "Neat awesome game",
  66.     instead do something more like "Space Invaders Clone, very good.".

  68. V - View Archive Contents
  69.  
  70.     Most files available for download are stored in archives, which allows
  71.     for many files to be stored in one compressed file.  To get a listing
  72.     of what's inside an archive, use this command.  Be aware that there are
  73.     numerous archiving formats and only some are supported by this BBS. 
  74.     The file can be from any available area.

  76. E - Entire File Listing
  77.  
  78.     This will list the files available for downloading in all available
  79.     file areas.

  81. R - Read Text File
  82.  
  83.     If there is a text file in the files section that is not archived, and
  84.     you'd like to read it but not download it, then use this command.  The
  85.     file can be from any available area.

  87. I - Information on File
  88.  
  89.     To get a little more info on a file than is displayed in the file
  90.     listing, use this command.  It will display the file size, description,
  91.     who uploaded it, time to download, etc.
