- "Read My Lie (Internet Mix)" ⌐ 1992 by Baird McIntosh
-
- This song is freely distributable subject to the following constraints:
- (1) No profit is made from this song.
- (2) This song may not be made part of a commercial product without
- the written consent of Baird McIntosh, the author.
- (3) To summarize my intent: If anyone makes money from this music, it
- should be me, Baird McIntosh. Please don't steal my work.
-
- This song was composed using MED (Music EDitor) version 3.21 by
- Teijo Kinnunen of Finland. I highly recommend this program. The song
- uses one synthsound ('FX2') and the Decay command ($08), so you will want
- to use a version of MED which supports these features.

- About "Read My Lie (Internet Mix)"
- ----------------------------------
- The original version of this song was done with Sonix 2.0. I also
- did a 'remix' of the song in MED, but I'd be surprised if you've heard it
- since I didn't distribute it. The current 'Internet Mix' is the most fully
- developed of the three. It is so named because I intend to upload this
- module to an 'anonymous ftp site' on the Internet.
- The song is based on samples of those famous words of Mr. George Bush,
- a politician of the highest order (you see how I feel about politicians
- :-) In case you're wondering, yes I did do a little creative sample
- splicing to make the 'lie' sample... I don't think G.B. said "read my lie".
- Anyway, the 'lie' sample doesn't sound completely natural. Oh well.
- Also included in the song are samples of Bart Simpson, SOUL II SOUL,
- New Order, and finally the 'DetunedSaw' which I created with a program I
- wrote. The music (or noise) is somewhat strange, so be prepared. Also, if
- it is at all possible, play this song through a nice stereo system. I've
- tried to keep the beat fairly relentless. :-)
-
- As always, if you're reading this before the date below and you want to
