  5. Yep this is it.  Hardcore dance music.  The loudest, the best, the only
  6. way to dance.  Play it loud and add that bass, annoy your neighbours,
  7. amaze your friends, with an awesome sound that only the true new
  8. generation love.
  9.  
  10. This tune is dedicated to all the Hardcore freaks around the world and
  11. it is also dedicated to the amiga Group 'CHAOS CORPORATION'.
  12. Love your work boys.  Get in touch.  Perhaps we could work on something
  13. together sometime.
  14. Lets answer some obvious questions that you are likely to ask:

  16. 1)  Its fucking huge man.  Why write a tune that big??

  18. Well yes it is huge.  Wow.  Who cares??  It does what i want it to.  And
  19. it sounds like i want it to,  Ah big shame it won't let you run 
  20. multi-tasking bits over and underneath it.  Its a stand alone tune.  It
  21. doesn't need a demo with it (probably because the coders would say 'ITS
  22. FUCKING HUGE!!  HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIT THAT IN??').

  24. 2)  What is that awful sound?  Thats not music!!

  26. I'll let you in on a secret here.  It is music and its damned good.
  27. Don't be a closet critic.  Listen to the new sound and enjoy it or be like
  28. your father was to you when you were younger.  Always saying that music
  29. isn't what it used to be.  Its new!!  Of course it ain't like what it used
  30. to be!!!   Its not meant to be.  What a boring world it would be if all
  31. music was the same and to a standard.

  33. 3)  Its boring, its repetitive.

  35. Well maybe, maybe not!!  But 20,000 people at one place, to listen to this,
  36. boring repetitive music, can't all be wrong.  This music is the biggest
  37. scene ever to hit the music industry.  People are travelling 200 miles or
  38. more just to dance all night.  Hardcore rave music has a feeling to it
  39. that makes you enjoy yourself.  It is played through stadium style
  40. speaker systems totalling over 40,000 watts.  And that bass feels sooooooo
  41. good to me.

  43. 4)  Real music doesn't come from a computer.

  45. Yes it does.  Yes, there are some shit tunes that are being mass produced
  46. like a factory construction line.  But, just because its on a computer
  47. doesn't mean instantly that its crap and non-musical.  And just because
  48. it's not being played live for you doesn't mean its no good either.  I 
  49. myself love to see a good live band and have done for many years.  But for
  50. gods sake stop this bickering about "its not real music", well...what is it
  51. then??  A ham on rye sandwich??  Give me a break.  Its good in my opinion.
  52. I don't need to be told that my music is shit.  What you like and what I
  53. like may be vastly different, but it doesn't mean either of us is right.

  59. Ok, now i have got that out of the way.  I have some news for you.
  60. I am really thinking of giving up writing music on the Amiga.
  61. Reason?  Well..what do i get out of it?  Why should i write music for
  62. nothing in return.  No this isn't a begging letter.  I just feel that I
  63. am working my arse off for nothing in return.  Am I wrong?

  65. Let me know.  Tell me why i should or shouldn't carry on.
  66. Or just do the usual thing and sit on your arse and just take take take
  67. and criticise at things that you haven't even tried.
  68. I'm sorry if this text is like a major gripe.  But its how I feel about 
  69. the amiga/IBM PC music scene.
