  1. OS/2 2.0 Lunar Phases...

  3. PMMOND (OS/2 2.0 Lunar Phases) is a PM program which (should...<g>) cal-
  4. culate the lunar phases with an accuracy of max. +- 2 minutes 
  5. (typically better than +- 1 minute): this holds wether the year
  6. is 1355, 1582, 1992 or whatever...
  7.  
  8. THIS PROGRAM ONLY WORKS ON OS/2 2.0 (since it's all 32bit).
  9.  
  10. The program is Version 0.95 - means it's still not multithreading
  11. and only intended to run on machines with 80486 or with
  12. Math Coprocessor - since a lot of number crunching is done... 
  13. It runs on machines without Coprocessor, but be prepared that PM 
  14. IS LOCKED for 5...10 seconds during calculations! 
  15. Maybe a multithreading version will correct this problem...

  17. This is my first PM program, originally written for OS/2 1.x. So
  18. don't expect a perfect program - known problems:

  20. - PMMOND is not multithreading
  21. - The program canmnot be moved on the WPS. Maybe WM_QUERYTRACKINFO
  22.   is handled different in OS/2 2.0 than in OS/2 1.x (where every-
  23.   thing worked fine)?

  25. I translated all into English, but maybe the translation is not very 
  26. well done... Any suggestions are welcome.

  28. I had some problems compiling OS/2 2.0 Lunar Phases with C Set/2, so
  29. the program run only on my machine for some time... Hope, this is 
  30. corrected now.

  32. The program may be distributed freely on all MAGNUM BBS's (like the
  33. GILMORE SYSTEMS BBS, (818) 706-9805). Provided, it works at all...
