  4. Welcome! The OS/2 Study Bible program is the first OS/2 bible program
  5. that I know of. It was developed over the past six months with the
  6. goal that a commercial quality product could be made available for
  7. those who want to study the bible and are using OS/2.
  8.  
  9. It has been compiled using the OS/2 2.1 March beta programming kit.
  10. Once the general release of OS/2 2.1 becomes available in mid-June it
  11. will be retested and possibly re-released. Please report any bugs
  12. that you may find before that date arrives so that the fixes can be
  13. included in that revision.

  15. This file and the os2bible.inf information file are included in the
  16. first of two zip files. The second zip file contains the application,
  17. the bible text and concordance, and a Rexx file that may be used to
  18. create a folder and icons on your desktop.

  20. To view the os2bible.inf file, use the OS/2 VIEW.EXE program. This
  21. IBM utility is usually located in your C:\OS2 directory. The command
  22. to view the information file is: VIEW OS2BIBLE.INF
  23.  
  24. If you have not already downloaded the second zip file you may
  25. download it from the OS/2 Bible BBS at 816-468-6118. It is located
  26. in Kansas City. If you upload the OS/2 Study Bible to a BBS then call
  27. the OS/2 Bible BBS and let everyone know. That way it may save
  28. someone else some expense. A list will be maintained on the BBS of
  29. known sources. If you find that the OS/2 Bible BBS has disappeared
  30. then you can still contact me on Compuserve, Prodigy or U.S. Mail.
  31. The latest revisions will always be located in the OSUSER forum Lib 4
  32. on Compuserve.
