  38. Cologne -- 07/17/93 -- PrOffice has chosen OS/2 2.x as their
  39. 32-bit platform for PAB/2 (Personal Addressbook/2), the first
  40. full 32-bit-powered address software program for the Database
  41. Manager of IBM Extended Services or DATABASE2/2. PAB/2 is a
  42. software developed fundamentally for OS/2 2.x and utilizes the
  43. Workplace Shell (WPS) as the object oriented interface to the
  44. user. PAB/2 is now available.

  46. PrOffice Personal Addressbook/2 (PAB/2) is a network-compatible
  47. address-management-software with mailing- and holdfile-
  48. components as well as document- and application-management.

  50. PrOffice just received the IBM OS/2 Award for PAB/2.

  54. A technical overview of PAB/2 is available for download in the
  55. CompuServe forum OS2AVEN section 1 (PAB2TE.ZIP). Please
  56. download this file first, because it will describe all features
  57. of PAB/2 as well as it's system requirements. PAB/2 requires
  58. the Database Manager component of ES/2 or DB2/2.

  60. An evaluation copy of PAB/2 is available for download in the
  61. CompuServe forum OS2AVEN section 1 (PAB2UK.ZIP). You will get
  62. a full blown PAB/2 Advanced (please refer to the technical
  63. overview for it's features), which will lack our huge 750K help
  64. system with tutorial. It's lifetime is valid thru 09/30/93. A
  65. special DB2/2-only 32-Bit engine is available on request.
