  1. PmDraw - Beta Version for Professional Developer's Kit
  2. for OS/2 2.0

  5. PmDraw is IBM Employee Written Software (EWS) and is
  6. governed by the separate document on EWS software.  Please
  7. understand these terms.

  9. PmDraw is an application designed for presentation graphics,
  10. including limited graphing.  It is designed to take advantage
  11. of several OS/2 features, including threads (i.e. menu options
  12. can be selected even while an image is redrawing or loading).

  14. To install PmDraw, place all the files in their own directory
  15. (e.g. \PMDRAW).  Create a program object by dragging a Program
  16. template from the Templates folder to any desired folder.
  17. Then, in the Path and file name field, enter x:\path\PMDRAW.EXE
  18. (replacing "x" and "path" as appropriate).  In the Working
  19. directory field enter x:\path (again, replacing "x" and "path"
  20. as appropriate).  Click on the General tab, and change the name
  21. of the program object from Program to PmDraw.  Close the settings
  22. notebook.  To start PmDraw, simply double click on this program
  23. object.

  25. Once you have started PmDraw, you are prompted to open a file or
  26. start a new drawing.  Sample clipart is provided, so you may choose
  27. to open an existing drawing if you wish.  Then PmDraw will present
  28. a grid, with any drawing selected, along with the available menu
  29. options.  For further help on using PmDraw, select Help -> Extended
  30. Help.  The online help information may be printed for convenience.

  32. Certain PmDraw features involving image files (BMP, GIF) require the
  33. Image Toolkit, available on the OS/2 Professional Developer's Kit
  34. CD-ROM, which may be ordered from IBM.
