- Disk Watch is a utility for OS/2 2.x which monitors the amount of remaining
- free disk space on the hard disk system. If the amount of available space
- is reduced below a certain minimum, then an alarm will be issued to inform
- the operator that he is running out of disk space.

- LICENSE

- Logan Industries Inc. (LII) hereby grants to the user of this software
- package (from hereon referred to as "Disk Watch") a non-exclusive license
- to use Disk Watch on one central processing unit ("CPU") only, for an
- evaluation period NOT EXCEEDING 3 (THREE) MONTHS.

- To continue using Disk Watch after the evaluation period, the user must
- obtain a full single CPU license, or a site license from Logan Industries.

- You may copy or give away copies of Disk Watch, and you may post copies of
- Disk Watch on BBSes (Bulletin Board Systems) provided that the following
- conditions are met:

- 1) Only the DEMO copy of Disk Watch may be given away. Full license
- versions may not be given away.

- 2) Only give away the original, unmodified, files in the orginal
- archived format (.ZIP file).

- 3) You do not charge any money for Disk Watch.

- Shareware Distributors:
- You may distribute the Disk Watch DEMO copy provided that you do not
- charge any fee for the software. You may charge a nominal disk
- reproduction fee if you so desire. Only distribute the original DWxx.ZIP
- (where xx is the current version number, e.g.: 12 = 1.2). You may not
- convert the zip file into any other format without express written
- permission from LII.

- INSTALLATION
- ------------
- To install Disk Watch, extract the contents of the .ZIP file to a floppy
- disk or into a temporary directory and run the INSTALL utility.
-
- The following files must be present on the floppy disk or in the temporary
- directory:
-
- INSTALL.EXE
- INSTALL.INS
- DWATCH.EXE
- DWATCH.HLP

- After extracting the above files from the .ZIP file follow these steps:
-
- o Open an OS/2 Window command prompt
- o change to the drive/directory where the above files
- are located
- o type the command INSTALL
-
- The installation utility will prompt for the directory name into which
- the Disk Watch related files are to be copied (Default is C:\DWATCH).
- After verifying/modifying the installation path click on the INSTALL
- button. The installation utility will copy the required files and create
- a program object for Disk Watch on the OS/2 desktop.

- OPERATION
- ---------
- To start Disk Watch click on the Disk Watch icon on the OS/2 desktop.
- Configure the drive letters to be monitored by using the available
- menu selections. The Disk Watch online help will aid with configuration.

- You can size the Disk Watch monitor window to a suitable size and simply
- leave it running on the desktop. You can also move the Disk Watch icon
- to another folder or group if you don't want it on the desktop.

- You can also leave the DiskWatch monitor in its minimized state, the
- alarm message box will be displayed properly.
