  1. Here's some of the highlights planned for (hopefully) #9:

  5. Color highlighting for quoted text.
  6. An internal editor made specifically for writing messages.
  7. Better handling of quoting.
  8. Sort/Read by thread.
  9. Ability to create pseudo conferences.
  10. Perform searches across conferences - possibly across BBSes.
  11. Enhanced tagline features.
  12. Internet style footers.
  13. Twit Filter.
  14. QWK packet management.
  15. Configurable icon bar (may not make it into #9, but it's planned)
  16. Enable popup menus from the Window List.
  17. Enhancements to the Address Book.
  18. Lots of piddly stuff I want to get tightened up.
  19. A couple of other neato things that will be a surprise.
  20. Any nifty user requests that come up which make PmQwk a better product.

  23. I have other things planned for the more distant future, such as databasing 
  24. abilities and other packet formats, as well as integration with TE/2 and the 
  25. workplace shell, but those won't show up in the next release.  If the #9 beta
  26. stays stable, we'll probably make the following release a legitimate 1.0 
  27. release - a year and a half (geez, getting closer to two years) is more than 
  28. enough time in beta!
