- What is LA Times?
- -----------------
-
- LA Times is a 32-bit multi-threaded PM application for reading NNTP news via
- Internet. This program requires IBM TCP/IP V1.2.1 or later and OS/2 2.0 or
- later, and access to an NNTP news server.
-
- LA Times is not free. You have limited license to use this product for
- 30 days. After this time, you are required to either register the product or
- remove it from your system.
-
-
- Installation
- ------------
-
- To install the registered version of LA Times, run the INSTALL program from
- the release disk. Select the source and destination drive\directory and press OK.
-
- If you are installing the shareware version, create a directory and UNZIP the
- ltimes20.zip file into it.
-
- You can add the LA Times directory to your program PATH statement and/or
- create a WPS object for it.
-
- To execute the program type "LATIMES<Enter>", or, if you have made an object,
- double click on that object.
-
-
- Shareware Registration
- ----------------------
-
- Once you have the program running, select Help/Registration Help from the
- system menu. This will tell you how to register your copy of LA Times.
-
- You can use shareware version for 30 days. After that time you must remove
- LA Times from your system or register it, by submitting payment and the
- registration form (printable from the help file).
-
- Your registration fee helps pay for the hours I've spent developing the
- program, and the hours I will spend on subsequent releases. I'm not in
- this game to make a million - only to break even.

- Bugs and Corrections
- --------------------
-
- See the help file revision history for details on bugs fixed and known.
-
- If you find what you think is a program bug, please contact me (see below) as
- soon as possible, with a reasonable explanation of the bug and the set-up that
- led to it.
-
- Remember use the -l command-line option to produce a LATIMES.LOG file if
- possible. This will make fixing the bug much easier.
