  39. This copy of LAN Administrator is a demonstration copy. 
  40. It is fully functional and does not employ any 'crippling' 
  41. or 'annoying' gimmicks.  This version is slower than the 
  42. Registered version because it uses 16bit REXX and the 
  43. OS/2 LAN Server command-line interface rather than the 
  44. Network APIs.  The registered version (in production now) 
  45. will be a 32 bit program that uses the Network API's and 
  46. is therefore much faster.  The registered version will also 
  47. have some additional features that are not available with 
  48. the demonstration version, due to being accessible only 
  49. through the APIs (Network User Logon Assignments are 
  50. one example).  The registered version will also contain 
  51. fewer 'support files' (.ico, .bmp, etc.) so it will be 
  52. easier to manange.

  54. LAN Administrator is planned to grow in three major steps 
  55. (with patches and fixes as needed).  These steps are: 
  56.  
  57.   1.  Release of this demonstration version 
  58.  
  59.   2.  Release of an 'intermediate' version that 
  60.     will be a full 32bit OS/2 Application (still 
  61.     utilizing the OS/2 LAN Server command-line 
  62.     interface).  (expected March/April 1994)

  64.   3.  Release of 32bit program utilizing the OS/2 
  65.     LAN Server 3.0 APIs. (expected June/July 
  66.     1994).

  97.   company to buy if the program belonged to you.

  99.   If one Network Administrator uses LAN Administrator 
  100.   as a regular part of his duties, and another user 
  101.   uses it on an infrequent basis (say less than once 
  102.   a week), then only one copy needs to be purchased.

  105.   basis, then you would need 2 licenses.
