- Introduction
- ============
- Hi, thanks for downloading the second public beta of CS-Edit/2.
-
- This program is an intelligent CONFIG.SYS editor for OS/2 2.x
-
- To install :-
- * unzip CSEDIT2.ZIP, using PKUNZIP2 or another unzipper, into it's own directory.
- * Change into the directory you used in the above step
- * Type 'INSTALL' without quotes and press Enter.
-
- The install should create an icon on your desktop, which you can double click
- on to launch the program.
-
- This program is being publicly beta tested on CompuServe via the OS2AVEN
- forum, in the Other Vendors section. We would appreciate all comments and
- will support the product there to the best of our ability. Feel free to make
- any critcisms about the product you feel will make it better.
-
- Limitations
- ===========
- This beta copy will expire September 1st.
-
- We plan to have the product commercially available around this time.
- We have decided to slip our planned August ship date to take advantage of some
- new features in VisPro/REXX that we feel are very important to the usability of
- CS-Edit/2 (specifically multithreading).
-
- The 'Autocheck on start' and 'Autocheck on close' have problems with losing the focus
- which are currently being addressed.
-
- This is BETA CODE. Multitask Consulting takes no responsibility for any
- harm resulting from the use or non-use of this software. Multitask Consulting makes no
- guarantee as to the function, performance or usability of this software, whether
- expressed or implied. Use at your own risk.
-
- Having said this, the software has been tested and has not yet
- corrupted the configuration of any of our machines.
