- THIS PATCH RELEASE WILL UPGRADE BACKMASTER v1.0 TO v1.01
-
- BEFORE RUNNING THIS PATCH IT IS NECESSARY THAT VERSION 1.0
- OF BACKMASTER BE INSTALLED.
-
-
- This BackMaster patch fixes the following problems:
-
- 1) Files on tape having more than a 20:1 compression ratio would
- not be read correctly by verify or restore.
-
- 2) When OVERWRITE IF NEWER selected, files would be overwritten
- if the version on tape was older than the version on the hard drive.
-
- 3) Bad Offset message returned from restore or verify.
-
- 4) Fatal error 10010005 returned after trying to write to a write-
- protected cartridge.
-
- 5) QUICK ERASE and FORMAT TAPE dialog windows would loose focus
- after a message window appeared. On a mouseless system, focus
- could not be returned to the dialog windows, making them impossible
- to close.
-
- 6) High resolution displays would not show the check marks for selected
- folders and drives in the BackMaster file selection window.
-
- 7) The BackMaster installation program (BMINST.EXE) would always
- attempt to access A:, causing an error if no diskette was in the
- A: drive.
-
