  1. The following three shareware utilities are included in this package:

  3. ENC.EXE        File encryption utility.
  4. PVF.EXE        Protected mode file viewer.
  5. RVF.EXE        Real mode (DOS version) file viewer.
  6.  
  7. All are full screen, character mode utilities.  They were obtained from
  8. the OS/2 Shareware BBS, tel. 703-385-0931.  Instructions on the use of
  9. these utilities follows.

  16. Allows you to encrypt/decrypt one or more files in a specified directory
  17. and optionally send the output files to another destination.

  19. Usage: ENC /e/d [in-path]filepat [dest-path]
  20. Where: /e/d      = mutually exclusive tells ENC to encrypt or decrypt files.
  21.        in-path   = an optional drive - path specification.
  22.        filepat   = a DOS file name with wild cards.
  23.        dest-path = an optional destination path where the new files are to be
  24.           placed.  Dest-path will be created if it doesn't exist.  If dest is
  25.           not specified, the files in the in-path directory will be acted upon.
  26. Exmpl: ENC /e ..\work\*.dat c:\hold
  27. ENC will ask you for a key and then use this key to process the requested
  28. files.  If the destination path does not exist, ENC will create it.

  30. ENC is licensed as a single copy at 40 dollars each.  A corporate site license

  44. Where: in-path   = an optional drive - path specification.
  45.        filepat   = a DOS file name with wild cards.
  46. Exmpl: VF ..\work\*.dat

  48. Keys usage -
  49.    up arrow   = up one row            left arrow  = left one character
  50.    down arrow = down one row          right arrow = right one character
  51.    TAB        = right 10 characters   ESC         = quit file, goto next
  52.    shift TAB  = left 10 characters    ctrl-C      = exit VF
  53.    page up    = up one page
  54.    page down  = down one page
