  27.   BBS or service where you found PMEdit32 and also contact DangerMouse
  28.   Software for a corrected copy of PMEdit32.

  31. Quick Start -- Installing PMEdit32:

  34.   If you want to get started right away, simply copy these files to
  35.   these destinations:
  36.  
  37.      PMEdit32.exe     -- should go in a directory referred to in your
  38.                          PATH environment variable.
  39.  
  40.      PMEdit32.hlp     -- must go in a directory same directory as  
  41.                          PMEdit32.

  44.   If you accomplish just these steps, you should now be able to run
  45.   PMEdit32 from the OS/2 command prompt by typing:

  47.                            PMEdit32 filename
  48.  
  49.   where "filename" is the name of the first file you wish to edit with 
  50.   PMEdit32.  While running PMEdit32, select Help from the Menu any time 
  51.   for help and information.

  53. PMEdit32 Description:
  54. ---------------------

  56.   PMEdit32 is a general purpose multi-windowed TEXT file editor, with a 
  57.   slant towards programmers...This will become more apparent in the next
  58.   release.  Pmedit32 exists because...well, "E" was not enough and "EPM" 
  59.   was too much.  As there was no PM based editor available...PMEdit32 was
  60.   born.  PMEdit32 is just right!

  62.   PMEdit32 features include:

  64.     - Edit multiple files in multiple edit windows
  65.     - Selectable Fonts
  66.     - Online Help
  67.     - Cursor position display

  75.   One thing I feel the need to mention here about using PMEdit32 is:

  80.   Other than that, PMEdit32 is extremely straight forward.
  81.   This evaluation version is functionally equivilent to the version sent 
  82.   to registered users with the following exceptions:

  84.     - Number of windows per session is limited to 2 rather than 64
  85.     - "Search AND Replace" is disabled
  86.     - Printing is disabled
  87.     - Last 'Path Used' is not saved when opening files
  88.  
  89.   The first time you start PMEdit32, select the <Options> menu item
  90.   after you have loaded a file, selected a font and positioned the 
  91.   PMEdit32 window to its desired position.  Then select <Save Options>
  92.   from the <Options>, <Save Setup> pull down menu or <Save Setup> from 
  93.   the popup menu.
