ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Install programs ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

This setup program helps you to install the top 35 programs of this CD-ROM
volume. The installation categories (e.g. COM Utilities) you see allow you to
mark your choice of programs quickly and easily (button "more") and copy them
onto a hard disk. If you want to mark more than the preselected programs, just
click the button "KDL Database" to get to the object oriented KDL application
which lists everything that's on the CD. The resulting window allows you to
mark any program with just a view mouse clicks.  If your drive C: does not have
the capacity for the selected programs, just click "Drive selection" to look
for a bigger hard disk volume. You can also change the desired path with this
option. If you want to install on a volume with less than 1 Mbyte remaining
space, the traffic light will switch to yellow. If the volume cannot hold the
all of the selected programs, the light switches to red. In this case, the
installation button is deactivated.  To copy the selected programs, just click
"Install". To exit the setup program, click the "Exit" button.


ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Select individual programs ... ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

This window helps you find specific programs and mark them for installation. It
also gives you a detailed profile of the program and the licenser. With "View"
you can change the appearance of the program objects. "Sort" sorts you all KDL
entries (more than 1000) by the desired key (Author, Category, Description,
title, marked). The displayed icons show the category to which the programs
belong to. To mark an entry for installation, just click with the left mouse
button on it (the background of the icon switches to dark grey). After you
click on it, you will information about the entry in the lower half of the
window. Try the right mouse button to find out more about an entry.  After you
have selected all programs for installation, click the button with the door
symbol to finish the process. All selected programs will now be listed in a new
window, together with the required disk space and the total size of the files
being installed. If you want do deselect certain programs now, just click on
them and they will be removed from the list (background gets white and the
required disk space displayed is immediately lowered). Click on "Accept" to get
back to the setup window, "Cancel" brings you to the selection window again.


ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. more Details ... ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

This window displays further details about the selected program. To get details
about the licenser, just click on the button "licenser". The door button
returns you to the previous level.


ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Drive selection ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

If you don't want to install all programs on the default drive C, just click
the button "Drive selection" and choose another drive and path. This window
also reports the remaining free disk space. To change the path, remove the
default "\KELYDATA" and replace it with the desired path.


ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. KDL Database ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

This application helps you browse for specific programs, get more information
about them, copy them or even start them directly from CD (this option is not
available for every entry). It also gives you a detailed profile of the program
and the licenser. With "View" you can change the appearance of the program

key (Author, Category, Description, title, marked). The displayed icons show
the categories to which the programs belong to. To copy or open an object, just
use the right mouse button on the object.
