  7. :    Each person you add must have a unique      :
  8. : REF:NO. This allows the system to uniquely      :
  9. : identify each person. When you relate a person  :
  10. : to others in the genealogy, you use his REF:NO  :
  11. : to do it.                      :
  12. :    For example if person 1000 is the father of  :
  13. : person 1005, you must put 1000 in the field      :
  14. : FATHER:REF  of person 1005's record.          :
  15. :    To help you keep track of the reference      :
  16. : numbers of the people in your geneology the L   :
  17. : command will print a list of all the people and :
  18. : their reference numbers.              :
