  6. Be sure to use MBBSINIT.COM to initialize MFMSG.COM before using it.
  7. Note that you must be running an MBBS message system in order to use
  8. MFMSG. Text files must not contain any control characters other than
  9. carriage return, linefeed and tabs, must not have any "high bit"
  10. characters and must not be "squeezed". Messages must not exceed 16
  11. lines, and no line should be over 72 characters.

  18. This file is an example of a "batch" file which can be used to enter
  19. in one or more than one message in one fell swoop. When combined with
  20. XMODEM (v11.8 and up) and MBYE (v4.1 and up), it will enable MBBS
  21. sysops and users to exchange "E-mail" between systems. Note that only
  22. the sysop can enter a message from "SYSOP" or enter a bulletin.

  29. This is an example of a private message. Note that privileged users
  30. can enter in messages with a "FROM" name other than their own. Non-
  31. privileged users will always have this field entered with their name.
  32. "Privileged" status should be reserved for fellow MBBS sysops that
  33. you wish to exchange "E-mail" with.

  40. Note that while this sample file was created from scratch, by hand,
  41. MSCAN can be used to create a file readable by MFMSG. This is the
  42. easy way to do it if you want to exchange mail from one MBBS system
  43. to another..
