  4. If you receive ZipStream as a Zip file, you must unzip all files
  5. to a diskette, as installation must occur from diskette.
  6.  
  7. After files have been unzipped to diskette, run 'view a:zstream.inf'
  8. for further information on installation.

  11. Upgrading From Versions PRIOR to 1.03
  12. =====================================
  13.  
  14. In Version 1.03 and later the storage path of several key 
  15. components of ZipStream has changed.
  16.  
  17. Previously most of the ZipStream files were stored in the \OS2 and 
  18. \OS2\DLL directories.  Now all files are stored in the \CBASED 
  19. directory.

  22. Upgrading From Version 1.02 or later
  23. ====================================

  25. Just run a standard installation, the update operation is automatic.
  26. Then shutdown and restart to begin using the new version.

  29. Upgrading From Versions PRIOR to 1.02
  30. =====================================

  32. If you have a previous version already installed then follow these 
  33. instructions:
  34.  
  35. 1. Run the new zsinst utility manually as follows:
  36.       zsinst -d
  37.  
  38.       (the -d switch is a new automatic deinstall function)
  39.  
  40. 2. Reboot the system (Not Ctrl-Alt-Del)
  41. 3. Run the installation as per the on-line documentation
  42.    (That is use the device drive install utility from the desktop).
  43.  
  44. 4. Reboot, and that's it.
  45.  
  46. Note: If you have modified the standard installation setup then you will have
  47.       to manually deinstall ZipStream yourself, but try zsinst -d first!

  50. Deinstallation
  51. ==============

  53. Deinstallation is now automatic (if you have a standard installation), 
  54. just run
  55.     zsinst -d
  56.  
  57. If you have a non standard installation, use zsinst -U to clean off the
  58. Desktop.

  61. Evaluation Period
  62. =================
  63.  
  64. ZipStream may be evaluated for a period of 30 days only!
  65.  
  66. After the 30 day period has expired automatic (de)compression operations 
  67. will be suspended.
  68.  
  69. Files that are compressed on your system after the Evaluation period
  70. has expired may be manually decompressed with the ZSUnpack utility.
