-
- NewView was basically written because I was tired of having
- to open things up all the time just to view something be it a
- picture or text etc. I wanted the ablility to have something
- on my desktop that I could just drop something onto and view
- that particular something. The ability to remove it also
- crossed my mind and thus it was wrapped into a commodity.
- Otherwise one would have to have a program to send the CTRL-C
- to it (such as SysInspector.) With the commodity wrapper over
- it, you can enable and disable the appicon at any point in time
- or even remove it. Keep in mind that even though it's disabled
- the AppIcon will still remain on the desktop, you just won't be
- able to use it.
