  12. To use this program, you need ANY amiga with at least 1MB of available
  13. memory.  I recommend that this program is used with a hard drive, but it
  14. will quite happily run from a floppy disk.

  17. Special Notice
  18. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  20. All files created with V1.22 and earlier of this program will not work with
  21. with this or any future version of Financial Accounts.  This should not be a
  22. problem however because the update was made before any registered versions
  23. were sent to users.

  26. Installation
  27. ~~~~~~~~~~~~

  29. If you have already have an older version of Financial Accounts installed,
  30. or the unregistered version, you don't have to remove it.  Simply select
  31. the required path and this version will overwrite it.  Any files that you
  32. have created will NOT be deleted, so if you have created a file, don't
  33. worry, it won't disappear !
  34.  
  35. To install Financial Accounts to a hard drive, load the "InstallFA" program.
  36. You'll be presented with a file selector (details on using the file selector
  37. can be found in the "FinAccs.doc" file contained on this disk).
  38.  
  39. When you have located the appropriate path, hit return or click on "OK" and
  40. the installation will begin.  Installation should only take a few minutes
  41. and if all goes well, a message will appear saying that the installation was
  42. successful.

  44. However, there are several errors which may occur during installation:
  45.  
  46. 1. Device Not Available - You have selected a path that doesn't exist.
  47.    Suggest: Choose another path and be careful if typing it in.
  48.  
  49. 2. Couldn't Get File From The Program Disk - The program disk has been
  50.    altered in some way.
  51.    Suggest: Get a replacement from your PD/Shareware library or from me.
  52.    If you want the replacement from me, send me a disk+sae or £1 (UK only).

  54. 3. An Error Has Occurred During Installation - This could be anything from a
  55.    read/write error on either the source or destination disk, or simply the
  56.    destination hasn't enough space.
  57.    Suggest: Check path is entered correctly, and the destination has around
  58.    335K free at least.
  59.  
  60. 4. Required Memory Is Not Available - There is not enough memory to create
  61.    the required files.
  62.    Suggest: Close any applications that may be running in the background, or
  63.    better still, reboot your computer.
  64.  
  65. If any errors do occur, the installation will be aborted.  If you are not
  66. having any success installing the program, write to me telling me EXACTLY
  67. what you are doing/typing/running, etc. and I'll phone/write a reply to you.
