Transcription: Fawcett, On Keeping Mammoths Awake. One of my more successful additions to village life was the water tank. Water collected in the tank from a nearby stream, removing the need for arduous water carrying journeys. The only problem was regulating the flow of water from the tank's pipe. Initially, I employed a mammoth to block the pipe with his trunk. Although effective in the short term, in time this method produced a waterlogged mammoth.
