- % The grad frequency is the maximum number of grad or radial steps
- % per inch. The default is 72, which gives up to 72 steps per inch, which
- % will give nice smooth grads if the printer supports enough colors.
- % Unfortunately, it can chew up a lot of memory on the printer, and is slow.
- % A gradfrequency of 18 will limit the number of grad or radial steps to
- % 18 per inch, which will result in noticeable banding, but may reduce
- % printing time, & memory requirements. For really obnoxious banding, try
- % a value of 8, which will cause 8 steps per inch, or 1/8 inch bands.
