  8. The Area is on the sandy beaches north of Los Angeles. Pacific Coast Highway is on the south side, Freeway 101 on the north side. Well-known streets running through the area are: Topanga Canyon Blvd., Malibu Canyon Road, Kanan-Dume Road, and Mulholland Drive.

  20. 150,000 acres of land in Southern California's Mediterranean climate offers a wide range of habitats, natural and cultural resources and visitor activities. Expect to see chaparral, oak woodlands, rocky canyons, marshes, and sandy beaches. Here you will find Paramount Ranch (a working Hollywood set), scenic Mulholland Drive, Malibu Beach, Cold Creek Canyon Preserve, and the Will Rogers State Historic Park. Activities range from camping to hiking to water sports.
