  5. The Recapitulation section is usually a repeat of the Exposition section, but with some modifications, especially in the bridge.

If the bridge was to lead from the key of the first theme (C minor) to the new key of the second theme (E flat major)--all this in the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony--in the Recapitulation section, where both themes would be represented in the tonic key (C minor), the bridge would have to be changed.
