At the moment the tide is high with a recent flood of party posturing, prompting even the Christian Union to get involved (3 members on the exec). NTUUS is also a highly professional commercial organisation.[EITAL][HDNG]SU FACILITIES:[EHDNG][PARA]NTUUS has facilities on both sites: in Byron House on the City site and in the Benenson Building at Clifton. Byron provides 2 bars, cafe, 2 minibuses, 1 car, travel agent, photocopying, a shop, games and vending machines, pool tables, juke box, launderette, bank, recycling facilities, meeting and conference rooms, and a cashpoint (Barclays). Clifton offers a bar, coffee bar, shop, bookshop, printing service, pool tables, recycling facilities, games machines and Midland Bank.[HDNG]CLUBS (NON SPORTING):[EHDNG][PARA]Amnesty International; Anti-Blood Sports; Asian Cultural; Classic Cars; Circus Skills; Euroscience; Film; Football Supporters; Hellenic; Lex; Malaysian; Motor; Motorcycle; Mystics; International Students; RCP; Students Against Poverty; Trophy Cabinet Appreciation; Wargames.[HDNG]OTHER ORGANISATIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]'Platform', the weekly NTUUS student newspaper, is distributed free as part of the local 'Evening Post'. The Student Community Action group is [ITAL]bristling with energy[EITAL] with a permanent member of staff and around 250 student volunteers working on 30 projects.[HDNG]RELIGIOUS:[EHDNG][PARA][STAT][BULL] 9 chaplains (CofE, RC, Free Church, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu)[ESTAT][PARA][ITAL]The Christian Union is extremely forthright and influential. [EITAL] The chaplains organise worship groups.
