[ITAL]The houses and flats are [PARA]quite plush[EITAL], [ITAL]but many of the hall rooms are quite[EITAL] [ITAL]small. [EITAL]The flats [PARA](in Chantry Court) are let to couples and other areas are all mixed[PARA]sex. Supposedly, noise is not allowed after 11pm.[PARA][BOLD]Car parking:[EBOLD] There is inadequate free parking - a permit is [PARA]needed. By November, it gets a [PARA]bit easier.[EITAL] The University comes to the rescue of a large [PARA]proportion of students with its head tenancy scheme, whereby it [PARA]rents local accommodation for 1,200 students in 200 houses (80 [PARA]in Hatfield, 65 in St Albans, 30 in Hertford and the rest [PARA]elsewhere). The University also has arrangements with [PARA]landlords/ladies placing 300 students in digs, living with their host. [ITAL][PARA]South Hatfield is the best place to look.
