It hosts some fine drama.[PARA][BOLD]Clubs/discos and music venues:[EBOLD] The Lemon Grove (cap 700) [PARA]hosts bops twice a week, which is a bit of an understatement - [PARA]on attendance, it is one of the top nightclubs in the country. It is [PARA]run by the Guild, but the [ITAL]killjoy [EITAL]University want to cut the number [PARA]of nights it opens. Live sounds pound in the Great Hall (1,800), [PARA]which doesn't actually belong to the Guild, but is regularly [PARA]borrowed from the University. If all else fails, there's the [PARA]Refectory (600).[PARA][BOLD]Recent bands: [EBOLD]The Orb, The Christians, Cocteau Twins.[PARA][BOLD]Others:[EBOLD] Balls all over the place, madam. The highspot is the [PARA]Summer do, which featured Rolf 'Sex God' Harris last year.[HDNG]EATING OUT:[EHDNG][PARA]On campus, there are 2 refectories which open for a munch at [PARA]lunch and in the evenings, and a coffee bar open during the day. [PARA]The Ram Bar has a full-time chef. In town, the Waterfront [PARA]serves cheap pizzas and Curry in a Hurry[ITAL] is called that for a [PARA]good reason.[EITAL] Also Pizzaland and the [ITAL]excellent [EITAL]Indian, The [PARA]Ganges, [ITAL]are popular with students[EITAL]. The restaurants in town are [PARA]mostly English, [ITAL]good quality, but often at prices which don't make[PARA]the grub go down any easier. For proper Devon cream teas, try [PARA]Hanson's on the Cathedral Green[EITAL]. [ITAL]Greasy Joe's is a notorious [PARA]burger van which sets up on campus until 3am.[EITAL]
