[ITAL] [EITAL]They house a single sex college created to provide an equal opportunity for women at Cambridge. Only women students over 21 years old are admitted and the average age is 30. Many have their own families, who they go home to at weekends. The site is full of trees, [ITAL]tranquil and quite beautiful,[EITAL] complete with a tiny Anglo-Saxon herb garden - [ITAL]perfect for peaceful study.[EITAL] [ITAL]The setting reflects the gentility of Lucy (as she's known):[EITAL] [ITAL]the staff/student relations couldn't be better, but the social life is inevitably somewhat limited. Time for fun makes way for time for study, to keep up Lucy's high academic record. [EITAL] Lucy sometimes shares events and amenities with St Edmund's.[PARA][PARA]Bar; end of term parties.
