Issues are important to them though, but it's [PARA]more often equal rights than workers' rights. When the SU holds[PARA]a general meeting the University cancels lectures and as a result,[PARA]attendance is better than most places.[EITAL][HDNG]SU FACILITIES:[EHDNG][PARA]Facilities have just moved to Communal Building, the University's [PARA]social centre, where the SU has offices, 3 bars (with satellite [PARA]TV), printing and photocopying, a common room, travel shop, [PARA]NatWest bank (with cashpoint), photo booth, pool tables, juke [PARA]boxes, vending and games machines, customised night club and [PARA]meeting rooms. The charity Rag raised ú5,500 last[PARA]year, [ITAL]which may not be an enormous amount, [EITAL]but BUSCA, the [PARA]community action group, made up for it with practical help for the[PARA]young, the old, the disabled and so on.[HDNG]RELIGIOUS:[EHDNG][PARA][STAT][BULL] 3 chaplains (RC, CofE, Methodist)[ESTAT][PARA]The University has a quiet room and the city has an Anglican [PARA]cathedral and other places of worship for Christians of all sorts, [PARA]Jews, Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus.[HDNG]PAID WORK:[EHDNG][PARA][ITAL]Having plenty of pubs and restaurants spells opportunity.[EITAL][PARA][PARA]
