  7.  First, install new drivers to your ACAD directory, by INSTALL, and
  8.  select "AutoCAD v2".
  9.  1. Change to your AutoCAD directory and type "DS86" to install driver.
  10.  2. Enter the AutoCAD Main Menu by typing "ACAD".
  11.  3. Select option 5 to configure AutoCAD.
  12.  4. Select option 3 ("Configured Video Display").
  13.  5. Choose "ADI Display Vx" for your new video display,
  14.     and set the hexadecimal interrupt (default=7Ah).
  15.  6. Follow the directions to complete your AutoCAD configuration.
  16.  7. Save your changes, back to main menu.
  17.  8. Start to work with your AutoCAD.

  28.  ACAD R12 directory by INSTALL, and  select "AutoCAD/R12".

  30.  1. Make sure the AutoCAD works fine with VGA.
  31.  2. Begin AutoCAD with the reconfigure switch by typing
  32.            ACAD -R
  33.  3. Select option 3 ("Configured Video Display").
  34.  4. Type Y at the "Do you want to select ..." message to
  35.     display the available video options for AutoCAD.
  36.  5. Select "Avance VGA P386 ADI v4.2 32-Bit Display List, by
  37.     Avance Logic".

  40.     your AutoCAD configuration.

  271.  select "Framework III 1.x".
  272.  1. Run Framework/III' SETUP.
  273.  2. Choose 2, "All other users of the setup program."
  274.  3. With two floppy drivers, insert "SYSTEM DISK 2"
  275.     into Drive B and select option 1;
  276.     From single floppy-drive system,
  277.     insert the disk into Drive A and select option 1;
  278.     Otherwise, choose option 2. (from hard drive)
  279.  4. Select 2 to CONFIGURATION.
  280.  5. Choose 1 to select the PRIMARY HARDWARE configurations.
  281.  6. Enter 1 to indicate that you want to select the Screen Driver,
  282.     and   7 for "I want to enter my own driver file name".
  283.     Then enter the name of the driver you want to use.
  284.     { See NOTE:Table lists the available FW/III driver names. }
  285.  7. Type "M" to return to the main menu.
  286.  8. Type "7" to save all your settings.
  287.  9. You will be prompted to insert the "SETUP Disk" into Driver A.
  288.     Do not insert the SETUP Disk; instead, please insert
  289.     the GUI-Ultra Utility Diskette, since your new drivers are located
  290.     on the GUI-Ultra Utility Diskette.
  291.     Press the space bar when you ready.
  292. 10. Save new configuration,
  293.     Choose option "1" if running FW from your floppy drive,
  294.        option "2" if you are using a hard disk drive.
  295.     Strike any key to exit to DOS once you have made your choice.
