Deep in the canyon-like fields of Cinnabar Islands, Ash Ketchum, the Pokemon Master, Brock, an official Pokemon Breeder, and Misty, the talented Pokemon trainer walk in the fields with the orange-red sun shading the sky.
Ash: "It has been a long journey you guys."
Brock: "Yeah, we've got all but 2 badges in 5 months."
Misty: "I guess I set a track record Ash! Your journey took 2 years!!!"
Ash: "Hey! Don't mention that to the world's greatest Pokemon trainer!!!"
Brock: "Guys, stop fighting!"
Then Brock stops and stares and watched Ash and Misty fight!
Brock: "Never mind you guys! You two are fighting for one reason."
The two of them stopped and looked towards Brock.
Brock: "It's because you like each other, you know."
Ash: "You..think so, Brock???"
Misty: "This good for nothing kid trashed my bike!!!"
With that, it started another quarrel.
Brock: Oh well, it's like I said. Two fight because the like each other.
Late that night, an explosion erupted. The ground was shaking, and Misty and Ash fall into a prehistoric Pokemon cave.
Ash: "Hey Misty. Are you alright?"
Misty didn't respond.
Ash: "Hey Misty..A bug is on you."
Again she didn't respond. Then Ash turned to Pikachu.
Ash: "Pikachu, use Thundershock on Misty!"
Pikachu: "Pika! Pikachu!" (Who do you think I am? I can't shock my friends.)
Ash: "Pikachu, this is really important. I think she's unconcious after that fall into this dark cave."
Pikachu nodded. He then shocked Misty.
Ash: "Hey Misty, are you there?"
Misty: "Ash where..are we?"
Ash: "I don't know. It's great to so you back."
Misty: "What did you..say?"
Ash: "It's great to see to see you back! I was worried!"
Then Ash broke into tears. Misty hugged him and Pikachu for saving her life.
Misty: "That's the nicest thing you did..for me."
Ash: "When we took that fall, I thought that you were..done..for good.."
Misty: "So you were concerned about me.."
Ash: "I.was.."
Pikachu: "Pika-pika! (I was too.)
Ash: "Hey Misty. We have to get out of this place. We're deep down in the Earth."
They then discussed their strategy. Meanwhile, on top of the underground cave, Brock was looking for Ash and Misty.
Brock: "We are you guys?"
Then Brock thought about what happened.
Brock: "They're gone forever."
Down below the dark cave, Misty and Ash attempt to escape.
Ash: "Bulbasaur, I Choose You!"
Out came Bulbasaur.
Ash: "Hey listen, Bulbasaur. We've got to get out of this cave. Can you help us?"
Bulbasaur acknowledged. Soon, our two Pokemon trainers were on their way to the entrance of the cave.
In the morning, a tired Ash and Misty reached the top of the Earth. They found Brock in his sleeping bag, talking in his sleep.
Ash: "Wow, Brock's talking in his.."
Misty: "Talk softer Ash. He's sleeping."
They found out that he was dreaming about the two of them lost forever. His words came out slowly.
Brock: "Come..back..come..back.."
Misty: "I didn't know we worried him."
Ash looked into the sky. The sun was almost high in the blue, aqua sky. He knew it was almost noon.
Later, Brock woke up. He found Misty and Ash right with him.
Brock: "You're back You're back! Yahoo!"
Brock was jumping around, feeling better to see them again.
Brock: "So you guys, what happened? Did you two box each other?"
Ash and Misty stared at each other. They turned red.
Ash: "Well, let's just say we didn't fight but."
Misty: "Helped each other!"
Soon, Brock was thinking about what they said and put their situation into his head. He then realized that,
Brock: "You two were meant for each other!"
Ash: "Looks like I beat you to the spot, Brock! Start searching!"
Brock then was embarrased.
Brock: "That's not fair..I'm the more attractive person in the group..I cook great food!!!"
Misty: "I guess Brock is back to himself."
Ash: "Yeah."
Misty: "Ash?"
Ash: "Yea Misty?"
Misty: "When I fished you out of the lake in the forest, remember that I said that I followed you because of my bike.
Ash: "And?"
Misty: "I have to tell you that I like you more than a friend, who destroyed my bike."
She then told Ash that he loves him.
Ash: "You..do..?"
Misty: "I do love you, as a friend and a Pokemon trainer."
Ash: "No matter why you..followed me when I was starting on my journey. I never had a friend like that who'd actually be nice like you."
Misty: "Yea. And that's why I changed my mind about you when you saved me in the cave. I couldn't wake up in my long sleep."
Ash: "I thought in the cave, when you were unconcious, that you wouldn't be alive, to finish your dream and mine."
Misty: "Thanks...for saving me..."
She cried. Ash hugged her telling her that they're ok.
Soon they caught up with Brock and were headed to Cinnabar Gym. Ash and Misty learned more of their past, as far back to Ash's days of training. As our heroes live the canyon, the look into the sunset of another day.
