This small freeware program makes HyperCard's "idle" handler work much better:
it is called anywhen (when the drawing tools are selected, when an external
window usually prevents it from beign called, ...), except when HyperCard is
executing a script.
This program has been compacted with Compact-Pro.

This stack will generate random "sensationalized" tabloid headlines similar to the genre of supermarket ones. It's hilarious in some of it's randomizations. This stack will allow you
to add verbs, adjectives, and nouns. No charge for the stack.

Here's rnMac, a Macintosh newsreader designed to be used with UUPC and
ToadNews. If you set up with UUPC as your uucp agent and ToadNews as your
news unbatcher/expirer, then you're set to use rnMac as a newsreader. rnMac
also has limited capabilities as a mailer, too. The program is shareware,
so send your $$$ to me at the address listed in the help or about boxes....

Subject: Planet 3.5
Enclosed is version 3.5 of PLANET which supersed Planet 3.4.
PLANET is an application in which your Macintosh computes the coordinates of the planets visible to the naked eye , the sun, and the moon.
When a solar or lunar eclipse is possible you can also investigate the eclipse from any place on earth.
Version 3.4 added possibility to save the map and displayed sunrise and sunset times. The user could select decimal or sexagesimal representation from the default menu and also switch between azimuth origin north/south.
Version 3.5 computes directly the sunrise and sunset times by clicking on icons on the screen and produces a new data table. Sunset and sunrise may be calculated for the sun center in the horizon without refraction or the upper limb touching the horizon with refraction. Also decimal/sexagesimal switching is handled by clicking icons on the screen. A bug in the conversion decimal to sexagesimal routine is fixed. Balloon help is included under system 7.0. A more sophisticated About Planet dialog is added.
You should use a system 6.0.7 or later although it seems that 6.0.3 also works. The application has been tested on MacPlus, Classic, ClassicII, LC, LCII, IIcx, IIci, IIfx, and Quadra.
Here is the latest shareware color version 'Tangram' at last! Older demo version programs should be replaced with this version. If you are a registered user, contact the author for registration code.
Tangram is an ancient Oriental toy which has 7 pieces, 5 triangles in different size, 1 square and 1 diamond. The objective of this game is to form a given shape using all 7 pieces.
Thousands of shapes can be made by moving simple shaped pieces around. This puzzle game is specially great for children to practice matching skill. You may think this is only children's game, but you will find it challenging once you try it.
Registered version has lots of features including editor, help and hundreds of puzzles.

Warning!!! New kinds of virus are found. But don't worry. New medicine is developed by Dr. Macinto. New version 2.5C features 256 color blocks and more twist (3 new kinds of virus, diagonal remove, etc.). Dr. Macinto is now 32-bit compatible.
Dr. Macinto is a single player game in which one is to remove all the viruses (smiling-face squres). The blocks can be removed by arranging them sequences of 4 or more of the same color horizontally, vertically or diagonally (optional).
Playing pills drop from the top and are comprised of two random colored blocks. Pills drop one at a time and may be moved left or right, or rotated.
If you want to keep this game, please pay $5.00 shareware fee. See 'About..' for more information.
Volume menu is a utility that puts a volume control at your
fingertips. Rather than having to get out the sound control
panel, you simply hold down some modifier keys (user-defined)
and click in the menu bar. Volume menu is so convenient
that I use it all the time.
It has been used by me (author) for about the last nine months
on various machines including a Quadra700 and has never caused
any problems.
v1.0 is shareware.
Volume menu is almost identical in interface to MacBrightness
(another of our products) - a utility for adjusting screen
brightness on Classics and Classic II's. MacBrightness is
PostcardWare.
Both VolumeMenu and MacBrightness require system 6.04 or later
to run.

Enclosed is MacWoof 1.5.3. The latest update to Craig Vaughan personal
Fidonet mailer for the Macintosh. MacWoof allows you to connect to a Boss
fidonet BBS running any Fidonet compliant mail program and downlaod all of
your mail, send your outgoing mail, and download and upload files.
MacWoof is peerware -- the messages you post indicate at the bottom how
long you have been "evaluating" the program without paying for it.
This will most likely be the last update to MacWoof for several months, as
This Hypercard 2 stack is designed for scientists working with yeast (S.
cerevisiae) and having more than a few strains. The stack is devised for a
storage format of 10x10 strains per box. A version designed for boxes of
8x8 is also available.
Besides some bug-fixes from vers. 1.0, vers. 1.2 is several times faster
displaying the individual strains. Those of you who have already built a
strain collection using vers. 1.0 or 1.1 of my stack can e-mail me for an
updater, which installs the 1.2 improvements without messing up the
strains already in the collection.
For each strain, mutant alleles are entered by choosing from a list,
alternative strain names, origin, plasmids and other commentary can be
stored in addition. Diploid strains can be entered by “mating”. Strains
can be extracted quickly by searching for the presence or absence of
mutant alleles, or for other criteria. Search results can be printed or
exported as text files.
For German yeast researchers: Eine deutsche Version (nur 10x10-Format)
kann per e-mail bei mir angefordert werden.

This is the truetype font CAVEMAN. It looks sort of like it sounds, blocky

looks like at the top right of PICT #2. If you do not have font-
