The Siege
by Liam the lemming
The rampant rodent strikes
again! And this time it's
not pop. Blimey, I think I
*am* good at writing these
things after all!
Seriously, though, I can't
help feeling proud of the
atmospheric feel of this
song. It's well groovy! And
easily the angriest, most
ferocious tune I've written
so far.
Long enough too - ST3 says
it's SEVEN minutes long!!!
I'm starting to use more
effects in my modules too,
so I'm really getting used
to them. Good thing too - I
wanted to put all sorts of
effects into my ProTracker
modules, but I couldn't do
it right because the PT
emulation on most module
editors and players was so
ropey. At least with ST3 I
can hear the song *exactly*
as it's supposed to sound.
Feel free to rip out all of
the samples. They don't
belong to me anyway. ;)
Personal hello's to Bryan
Jones, Lee O'Brien, Ian
Slavin, Kev Gee, James
Williams, Shereen Walters,
Russ Threadgold, Chris
Bruce, Ruth Jump and all my
other mates from Liverpool
JMU...
Other hello's to Purple
Motion of the FUTURE CREW,
*the* PC demo writers! Also
to Sami Tamilehto, the
utter genius behind ST3,
the BEST PC module writer
in existence! Hello's go to
all the other demo writers
too - Sonic, Renaissance
etc.
Well, that's it for now.
More modules on the way
soon, though, so WATCH THIS
SPACE! ;-)
