Transcription: The payload bay doors warped temporarily, which is expected because of the extreme temperatures encountered. To measure the exact amount of warpage, the doors were put in the closed position. And the amount of gap or overlap was measured by the crew using a theodolite instrument. The astronauts recorded much less warpage than was predicted by pre-flight engineering studies. you
