Transcription: Physiological experiments were conducted to look at how the body adapts not only to a microgravity environment, but also to the impact of reentry. Using electrode wires to gather data, the crew participated in over 25 experiments. Among them was the space tissue loss test, a study of the effects of weightlessness on body tissues. These experiments were critical to obtaining a deeper understanding of how the body reacts to long missions.
