Transcription: Shuttle astronauts must be capable of adjusting and repairing almost any part of the shuttle systems, including the computers. Shown here is Mary Cleave, the mission specialist, fixing the computer in the avionics bay. One problem in a weightless environment is that anything loose floats, including the screws and bolts removed while repairing the computer. To remedy this, the crew used plastic bags to collect the hardware. After the repair, the computer performed perfectly.
