Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Indicator (hereinafter "Software") is a Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP shell extension that provides an interface to S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology for prediction of device degradation and/or faults) capabilites of IDE/ATAPI drives.

TO INSTALL SOFTWARE
1. If you have a previous version of Software installed, it is recommended to uninstall it.
2. Run the executable AdenixSmartIndicator.exe.
To install Cryptext on Windows NT/2K/XP you must be logged in as Administrator or a user who is a member of the Administrators group. This is because only an Administrator has update rights to the part of the registry where shell extensions are registered.
TO UNINSTALL SOFTWARE
1. From the Start menu, select Settings, then Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs.
2. Select the "Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Indicator 1.0 (Remove Only)" entry.
3. Click on the Add/Remove button.
