ZoneWar.BETA Version
Creator: PAIN_
Play Type: Dukematch and Teamplay, maybe Co-op and Single
in final version.
This level was inspired by Tecnicolor's awesome level
Earthwar. Although this level is entirely different from Earthwar
I expanded on some things I wished were in Earthwar. ZoneWar has
a completely functional minefield, if only you knew where they
were, haha! Foxholes are also in this level. They will provide
some protection but it is not advised to sit in them too long
with expert rpg-ers out there. Lots of cover on battle field
but watch out for the mines! There are numerous fortresses
all with their own advantages and disadvantages, plus lots
of secrets and one super secret fortress, how long will it
take you to find it? Jetpacks and Shrinkers were left out of
this one, I just don't care for them too much, besides this is
a ground war!
Background: Set not too far from now. The last of two great powers
have come face to face after a devastating war that
has wiped out all but their finest soldiers. These soldiers
have come to this battleground with the understanding
that the fate of the war rides on their shoulders.
There will be no other battles, this is it and there
is no turning back.......no surrender!
I would like to thank the following: Tecnicolor for his
awesome levels and page,in which he posted my last level and
first level, Area512. And my wife, AKA CALIGIRL, for putting up with
my long days and nights on this computer, and helping me
with certain aspects of ZoneWar, shading and shadows. Thanks and
remember no surrender! Hope you enjoy.
Additional credits: Loquutus, playtester, and his idea I incorporated.
