PROGRAM USAGE
-------------
To run the program, all you have to do is at your DOS prompt type in
ZIPRITE and press enter. The program will ask you two short questions
1) What will be the destination ZIP file name, this could be a path
and file name or just a file name. Keep in mine that you should
point this file to a hard disk. When zipping from a floppy drive
you should always zip to a hard disk.
2) What floppy diskette will you be making a compressed file from.
This can ONLY be drive A: or B: no other drive will be permitted.
then sit back and watch the program do all the work. After the file is
created PKUNZIP is run with the -t option to test the ZIP to ensure that
the file created, was created correctly.
NOTE: This program will only work if you use PKZIP(tm) 1.10. You must
have PKZIP/PKUNZIP in the same directory as ZipRite or in your
PATH statement.

HISTORY
-------
12-12-92 ■ Released Version 1.00
∙ Program written in VISUAL-BASIC for MS-DOS 1.0.
12-21-92 ■ Released Version 1.10
∙ Corrected a couple of spelling mistakez.
∙ Added support for command line. You may now enter
your filename and floppy diskette on the command
line. (example: ziprite c:\vbdos\newfile.zip b)
∙ ZipRite will now create a file named 'ZIPRITE.INI'
this file has a number of uses. This file, if
not present will be created in the same directory
the ziprite.exe file is located. Once created
this file will have a number of purposes, all
information in this file will be updated every
time the ZIPRITE is run. If you need to create
a new .INI file just delete the old one. This
file can also be edited with any text editor you
see fit to use.
∙ Added a prompt for program SERIAL/REGISTRATION
number. What this prompt does is, if the program
your zipping requires a serial/registration number
then you would enter this number in the supplied
box. Once entered ZIPRITE will create a new file
name 'SERIAL.NUM' with the number in it. ZIPRITE
will add serial.num to the zip file that was just
created.
∙ Made a few cosmetic changes to a few of the screens.
