Have you ever wondered how to print dBASE files sideways? I
do it by turning my DBF data into a spreadsheet file: From
the dBASE IV Control Center, select Tools Export WKS and
pick the file you wish to export. It will be turned into a
1-2-3 release 1 WKS file that any spreadsheet program can
read. Programs like Sideways and Twist and Shout, intended
for printing worksheets sideways, can also read and print
these files.

Editor's note: There's another way to turn DBF data into WKS
files, and it can be done in dBASE III Plus, FoxPro, and
most other xBASE-language products. With the file in
question open, use the command COPY TO filename.WKS.
Any program that can produce a 1-2-3-compatible spreadsheet
file should be able to use this technique. But beware: Most
export facilities make column widths considerably narrower
than they need to be. Thus, a cleanup in 1-2-3 isn't just an
option, it's a necessity.
