  2. This was taken from the README.TXT file that came with the beta version of 
  3. DOS 5.0. I'm uploading this because while looking at this forum I noticed 
  4. someone asking about this file. I'm not sure of exactly what it does. I'm 
  5. just taking this at face value especially since I am an big user of WINDOWS 
  6. 3. I did notice that there was very little about this file in the manual.
  7. I hope it satisfies your curiosity.

  9. WINA20.386 FILE
  10.   When installing upon systems capable of running Windows in Enhanced mode
  11. MS-DOS 5.00 will place a read only file called WINA20.386 in the root
  12. directory. This file provides support for Windows when it is running in the
  13. enhanced mode and has to stay in the root.
